So 2016 went swimmingly well

I found my reading goals for last year.  I didn't know id be living in 4 different houses and not getting anything done past surviving.
My goals were:
First the losers:
Read 50 books. -Had to drop this down to 40 and have committed to 40 for 2017
Read one book by Anis Nin
Read one book by Virginia Woolf. (Side note: I was chosen to represent her in high school honors English at a literary tea party the awesome Mr. Ames put on. So I know about her, but I have not read her.
Read Frankenstein. I have this on my kindle. I think this is a I want to like it so I'm scared to do it and be disappointed.
Read Weathering Heights. Again it's on my kindle.
Read at least one Jane Austen. I want to be in this club, but maybe it isn't my cup of tea.
Finish Harry Potter. Again time constraints. Plus they are in a box somewhere...
Read all Rainbow Rowell books. Eh. No thanks. I read one and that was enough
I wasn't in love with it
Read Atlas Shrugged. Again do I really want to?
Read more Salinger
Read The electric kool-aid Acid test. Maybe this year.
The two goals I met:
Reread girl by Blake Nelson.
Read Dream School. Which is the sequel to Girl by Blake Nelson. Swoon I relate so to Andrea Marr, where is book 3?
This year I'm going to go with the flow. Read what I find and not make suedo intellectual lists about reading the classics. I'll probably read some really great middle grade mysteries. Some chick lit. A few essays and some cozy mysteries.
Happy New Year!
