I can't do it.

I've been meaning to watch Scrooged for about two weeks now. I can't do it. I've watched some of it, but apparently I don't like it. I have always maintained that I love 1980s Bill Murray, but this my friends did nothing for me.

I was very excited to see Bobcat in it as well. One Crazy Summer  staring John Cusack as well as Bobcat was a movie I saw on TV last summer and fell in love with. I hear that Better Off Dead is a very similar movie, same director and a lot of the same cast including Cusack. I pretty much refuse to watch Better Off Dead because I take great issue with suicide. I have had too many people close to me kill themselves to be able to watch a comedy about it. (Funny side note: The firemen at the firehouse next to my work claim they can reenact Better Off Dead scene by scene.)

On a totally different note I must add that whenever I watch Murray, I always question what carried him as a successful actor. Yes he's funny and adorable, but even in this move (1988) he has acne pocked skin and a receding hair line. I love the man and claim to appalled that he was killed in Zombieland ( sorry if you haven't seen it.)but the women he gets in his film are way out of his league.
